The ProAct Network - a not for profit international network of environmental professionals and partners - promotes environmental security and climate change solutions through sound environmental management. Its ultimate objective is to reduce disaster vulnerability and to help minimise the impact of disasters on communities as well as to help ensure that neither peoples' livelihoods nor the environment are unnecessarily impaired during disaster recovery and rehabilitation.
